3 factors that contributed to the energy crisis

 Organization of Petroleum exporting Countries announce an oil embargo against the United States, prohibiting the sale of any oil to the United States. 1973

Inflation:  a general and progressive increase in prices; "in inflation everything gets more valuable except money"

Stagflation: high inflation and high unemployment

  Roe v. Wade : Court case where the Supreme Court struck down most state abortion laws

1973  Roe v. Wade decision legalized abortion in the U.S. signaling the era of a liberal supreme court.

Justice Blackman used the 14 amendment, "no state shall make a law denying a person life, liberty, and property "
